Why is it hard to be a LPGA fan?
If you play golf and you are a big fan of the LPGA then why not sign up to play the pro-am? At $12,000.00 per foursome, in my opinion it is hard to be a LPGA fan.
Every LPGA tournament starts off with a pro-am where you and three of your buddies can play a round with a LPGA player. At $3,000.00 a pop, you also get breakfast and lunch, VIP parking, a gift bag and a photo of your group and a LPGA player. Al Curtis of Sacramento, CA played a pro-am at the KIA Classic where he and his buddies had played with Sandra Gal from Germany. Al loved it and shows up at LPGA tournaments where Sandra Gal is playing the week. "It is a dream come true because you play alongside a great player and you get to chit-chat with her like your golfing partner", says Al. You don't have to play well but you should be able to hit a ball off the tee reasonably well because there is a gallery and you don't want to look dumb. Either that or have nerves of steel and ignore the crowd. |
